  31. It depends on the board, but I believe the answer is generally no.

  35. I wouldn't reccommend less than 32MB. 16MB will be rather painful, but
  36. will probably work just fine (with lots of disk thrashing).

  41. You will be able to run both Alpha-NT native software (such as LightWave)
  42. and 16bit windoze apps that don't rely heavily on direct access to the
  43. hardware. When my back is turned, my wife frequently runs things like
  44. Quicken on my Alpha and its just a standard 16bit Windoze app. 32bit apps
  45. like PhotoShop will not run unless an Alpha native port is compiled
  46. by the manufacturer. Contact an Alpha system manufacturer to get the latest
  47. list of ported native apps (its a big list). I know NekoTech has this list
  48. on hand and I'm sure the other vendors do as well.
